【摘要】:Theunbiasedhighlyacceleratedstresstesting(HAST)isperformedforthepurposeofevaluatingthereliabilityofnon-hermeticallypackagedsolid-statedevicesinhumidenvironments.Itisahighlyacceleratedtestwhichemploystemperatureandhumidityundernon-condensingconditionstoacceleratethepenetrationofmoisturethroughtheexternalprotectivematerial(encapsulantorseal)oralongtheinterfacebetweentheexternalprotectivematerialandthemetallicconductorswhichpassthroughit.Biasisnotappliedinthistesttoensurethatthefailuremechanismspotentiallyovershadowedbybiascanbeuncovered(e.g.galvaniccorrosion).Thistestisusedtoidentifyfailuremechanismsinternaltothepackageandisdestructive.NOTEThistestisacompleterewriteofthetestcontainedinClause4CofChapter3ofIEC60749(1996)(withoutbiasvoltage).
