【摘要】:ThisPartofBS6399givesmethodsfordeterminingthegustpeakwindloadsonbuildingsandcomponentsthereofthatshouldbetakenintoaccountindesignusingequivalentstaticprocedures.Twoalternativemethodsaregiven:a)astandardmethodwhichusesasimplifiedproceduretoobtainastandardeffectivewindspeedwhichisusedwithstandardpressurecoefficientstodeterminethewindloadsfororthogonaldesigncases.NOTE1.ThisprocedureisvirtuallythesameasinCP3:ChapterV:Part2.b)adirectionalmethodinwhicheffectivewindspeedsandpressurecoefficientsaredeterminedtoderivethewindloadsforeachwinddirection.Othermethodsmaybeusedinplaceofthetwomethodsgiveninthisstandard,providedthattheycanbeshowntobeequivalent.SuchmethodsincludewindtunneltestswhichshouldbetakenasequivalentonlyiftheymeettheconditionsdefinedinannexA.NOTE2.Windtunneltestsarerecommendedwhentheformofthebuildingisnotcoveredbythedatainthisstandard,whentheformofthebuildingcanbechangedinresponsetothetestresultsinordertogiveanoptimizeddesign,orwhenloadingdataarerequiredinmoredetailthanisgiveninthisstandard.Specialistadviceshouldbesoughtforbuildingshapesandsitelocationsthatarenotcoveredbythisstandard.ThemethodsgiveninthisPartofBS6399donotapplytobuildingswhich,byvirtueofthestructuralproperties,e.g.mass,stiffness,naturalfrequencyordamping,areparticularlysusceptibletodynamicexcitation.Theseshouldbeassessedusingestablisheddynamicmethodsorwindtunneltests.NOTE3.Seereferences[1]to[4]forexamplesofestablisheddynamicmethods.NOTE4.Ifabuildingissusceptibletoexcitationbyvortexsheddingorotheraeroelasticinstability,themaximumdynamicresponsemayoccuratwindspeedslowerthanthemaximum.
