【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoverssingle-cellprecastconventionallyreinforcedconcretethree-sidedstructuresintendedtobeusedfortheconstructionofculvertsandfortheconveyanceofstormwater.1.2ThisspecificationisthemetriccounterpartofSpecificationC1504;therefore,noimperialequivalentsarepresentedinthisspecification.Note18212;Thisspecificationisprimarilyamanufacturingandpurchasingspecification.Thesuccessfulperformanceofthisproductdependsupontheproperselectionofthegeometricsection,bedding,backfill,andcarethattheinstallationconformstotheconstructionspecifications.Thepurchaseroftheprecastreinforcedconcretethree-sidedstructurespecifiedhereiniscautionedthathemustproperlycorrelatetheloadingconditionsandthefieldrequirementswiththegeometricsectionspecifiedandprovideforinspectionattheconstructionsite.1.3ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnon-conformancewiththestandard.
