【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiesrequirementsforsingle-axishinges,oflift-offorfixedpintype,foruseonaccesswindowsanddoors.Suchwindowsanddoorsmayormaynotbefittedalsowithdoorclosingdevices.Itincludestestsforstaticloads,shearstrengthandallowablewearduringdurabilitycyclingforthefollowinghinges:a)mountedontheedgeofthedoorleaforwindowsashandopeninginonedirectiononly;b)whoseaxisofrotationiswithin30mmofanedgeofthemovableelementforadoorleafmassofupto160kg;c)whoseaxisofrotationiswithin30mmoftheedgeforawindowsashwithamassupto60kg.ThisEuropeanStandardclassifieshingesforfourcategoriesofuse(seeannexA)andalsospecifiesthemaximumpermissibletorquearisingfromfrictionalresistancegeneratedwithinthehingeduringendurancetesting.Corrosionprotectionrequirementsarespecifiedforthosehingeswhicharenotintendedtobeprotectedafterfitting.Therearenorestrictionsonthematerialsorthemethodsoffabricationusedprovidingthehingeconformstotherequirementsrelevanttoitsapplication.Thesuitabilityofsingleaxishingesforuseonfire/smokecompartmentationdoorassembliesisdeterminedbyperformancetestsconductedinadditiontotheperformancetestsrequiredbythisEuropeanStandard.AnnexBindicatesadditionalrequirementsfortheseproducts.ThisEuropeanStandarddoesnotapplytohingesincorporatingspring-assisteddoor-closingmechanisms.Doorclosersincorporatingdoorco-ordinatordevices(withorwithoutelectricallypoweredhold-opendevices)arecoveredbyEN1158.AlthoughthefasteningsusedtofixhingestowindowassembliesanddoorassembliesarenotcoveredbythisEuropeanStandard,ifthetypeoffasteningtobeusedissuppliedorspecifiedbythemanufacturer,suchfasteningsareusedforthetests.NOTEPerformancestandardsforcompletewindowsanddoorassemblies(inthecourseofpreparationbyCEN/TC33/MG1andTC33/WG2)willensurethatthefasteningsusedtofixthehingeareadequatefortheirintendedduty.
