【摘要】:Thistestmethodprovidesameansfordeterminingthedurabilityofdecoratedreturnableglassbeveragecontainerswhichmaybeaprerequisiteinproductspecifications.1.1Thistestmethodcoversdeterminationofthealkaliresistanceofceramiclabels(hereafterreferredtoasACL(AppliedColorLabel))onreturnablebeveragebottles(hereafterreferredtoasware)toensurethenecessarydurabilityofthelabel.Anumberofstatesrequirethecleaningandsanitizingofthiswarebywashinginhotalkalisolutions.AcceleratedtestsareneededtoensurethattheACLwillwithstandtheanticipatednumberofwashingsandstillpresentanacceptablewareidentificationandappearance.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
